You’ll be joining the team leading Entrust’s Identity portfolio, including the solutions formerly Onfido – an AI‑powered digital identity solution. With the completed acquisition, Entrust now provides the industry’s most comprehensive portfolio of AI‑powered, identity‑centric security solutions.

Our technology helps businesses verify real identities using AI and biometrics, ensuring secure remote customer and business onboarding. By assessing government‑issued IDs and facial biometrics with innovative dashboards and fraud signals, we provide companies with the assurance they need to operate securely while allowing people to access services quickly and safely.

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Test Engineer with experience in mobile and web testing to join a cross‑functional product engineering team that builds the Document Capture experience for our mobile and web SDKs, powered by microservices and state‑of‑the‑art machine learning models.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute test and quality‑related activities within a cross‑functional team;
• Work closely with engineering and product colleagues to clarify acceptance criteria and prioritize quality improvements;
• Select and apply suitable testing techniques based on a deep understanding of the product from technical and customer perspectives;
• Design and develop rich, usable test frameworks and test suites for targeted automated coverage, using a combination of open‑source tools and custom code;
• Support acceptance testing and combine automation with exploratory testing as required;
• Work with colleagues to evolve and continuously improve delivery pipelines and feedback processes, such as release acceptance;
• Be an enthusiastic advocate for quality and an evangelist for team test culture and practice.

Requirements

• Proven experience in test design and automation covering mobile and web;
• Great knowledge of different test practices, techniques and quality engineering processes;
• Strong coding skills in one of the languages (e.g., JS/TS, Java, Ruby, Python);
• Experience with test tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, XCTest, Espresso, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium);
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Nice to have

• Experience developing solutions for performance and load testing (e.g., k6, Locust, Gatling);
• Experience with Docker and AWS architecture.

Tech stack

We’re technology‑agnostic. We don’t expect you to have experience in all these technologies, as long as you’re open to learning. For testing, we mainly use:

• Languages: TypeScript, Ruby, Swift, Kotlin
• Test frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, RSpec, XCTest, Espresso, k6
• CI/CD: GitLab, Bitrise
• Deployment and infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
