A major financial services organization based in Leeds is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to direct complex technology initiatives and lead teams. The ideal candidate will have Pega Smart Dispute experience and proficiency in Java and JavaScript. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to developing junior engineers. Benefiting from a hybrid working pattern, the successful candidate will be part of a mission to prevent economic crime while delivering high-quality applications.

JOB TITLE: Software Engineering Lead
SALARY: £90,440 - £106,400
LOCATION: Leeds
HOURS: 35 hours, full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
In the Economic Crime Prevention (ECP) Platform, our mission is to reduce harm to our communities. We’re on a journey to use the latest advances in AI and Machine Learning to enhance the Group's capability to prevent, detect and respond to economic crime. The Platform sits within Consumer Relationships and plays a critical role in providing services across the whole Group.
