About the Role:

Finova are hiring cloud first developers who thrive in a dynamic agile environment. Our teams pride themselves on collaborating to solve problems quickly and efficiently with our client’s needs in mind. You'll be used to reshaping on-prem solutions to work on the cloud - taking the business knowledge built up over a number of years and utilising the latest techniques to make a next generation solution.

What will you be doing?
  • Build, and maintain scalable B2B workflow solutions, our product at its heart is a complex workflow engine which powers our customers businesses.
  • Contribute to the development of cloud-native solutions taking an API first approach.
  • Predictability is needed in all our teams, and you will be used to working in a now / next / later environment.
About You:
  • You need to enjoy working on automation and have the skills to make engines testable and maintainable.
  • You will have good working knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript and have experience in containerisation.
  • Understanding of a high-performance language such as GoLang and it’s practical application.
  • You are already looking at Cursor, CoPilot, Warp or similar.
  • Experience or knowledge of at least one major cloud vendor and the pros and cons of using their dedicated tools.
  • Our teams are cross-functional and you will be expected to communicate clearly and work as a team.
  • A fast iterative approach to software is needed, you work with CI/CD and constantly automate.
  • We build it, we run it is a mantra, so everything needs to be supportable and instrumented.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and pragmatic mindset – bringing clarity, pace, and accountability to product delivery.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and coaching others.
  • You are constantly looking at how you can make things better whilst acknowledging that good enough is what keeps us moving forward.
