Job description

At IP House, we empower brands, legal professionals, and rights holders to manage and protect intellectual property, both online and offline, on a truly global scale. Through cutting‑edge technology and deep cross‑border expertise, we deliver scalable, end‑to‑end solutions for IP portfolio management, enforcement, and content and brand protection.

We Disrupt

We Enforce

With over 700 experts operating across five continents, we are trusted by some of the world’s most recognized brands to combat counterfeiting, piracy, and IP infringement at scale. From digital platforms to physical marketplaces, we help clients safeguard what matters most everywhere it matters.

Overview of the Role:

IP House is at an exciting stage in its growth and is committing to a multi-year digital transformation. We are investing heavily in our technology, modernising core platforms, and rethinking how our systems scale to support a fast‑growing, global business.

We’re looking for skilled software engineers to help turn that vision into reality, particularly people who enjoy working on complex, data‑heavy systems, untangling legacy challenges, and building resilient, modern services that will underpin the company for years to come.

If you’re excited by scale, complexity, and the opportunity to have real influence over technical direction, this is a chance to help shape both the platform and the way engineering works at IP House. And if the idea of revolutionising a business that’s already revolutionising its industry sounds appealing, then this one’s for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build and maintain a variety of robust, production‑grade software systems.
  • Deliver well‑structured, maintainable code as part of a collaborative engineering team
  • Work closely with product development and teams across the business to translate requirements into pragmatic solutions.
  • Contribute to code reviews and be open to feedback to continuously improve code quality
  • Help ensure systems are reliable, observable, scalable, and secure in production
  • Contribute to architectural decisions across services, data, and integrations.
  • Support the modernisation of legacy systems alongside new feature development
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
  • At least 3 years of production software development experience
  • A team‑focused attitude and a genuine passion for technology, whether through professional curiosity, continuous learning, or side projects
  • Ability to understand system design and explain technical decisions with support
  • Solid problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively with clear but evolving requirements
  • Demonstrably strong knowledge of:
  • Golang
  • AWS or another cloud provider
  • Containerisation
  • DevOps principles including CI/CD and infrastructure as code
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • The internet and web protocols (HTTP/DNS/TCP‑IP)
Great If You Have
  • Full stack experience
  • Competency in other programming languages
  • Experience in the intellectual property or brand protection space
