A local council in England is seeking an experienced qualified social worker to join their adult social care team in Crewe. This permanent part-time role will provide various learning and training opportunities, enabling career progression. The successful candidate will assess clients' needs, identify risks, and collaborate with health professionals and other agencies to deliver optimal services. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified social worker to join our busy frontline adult social care team in Crewe. This is a permanent part time role. The post will provide a wide range of learning and training opportunities and includes joint working across the Health and Social Care sector. It will provide you with an excellent opportunity to progress your career and will offer you a wide range of experiences within Adult Social Care services.
In this role you will need to be able to assess the need for social work service including the identification of risk and the need for protection, determine the method of intervention, and decide and advise on the use of appropriate social services and/or other resources. You will also liaise and negotiate with other professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure that the best possible service is provided for clients.
We are looking for Social Workers who can work in a fast‑paced adult community setting and will need to have good communication skills, decision making skills and the ability to be creative in their work. The successful applicants will need to be able to adopt a flexible approach to their work and be a good team player.
