A local government organization in Warwickshire seeks a dedicated Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities Team. The role involves supporting children with complex needs, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families to achieve optimal outcomes. Applicants must have a professional Social Work qualification and a commitment to work within a multi-disciplinary team in a supportive environment.
The Children with Disabilities Team supports children with complex and profound needs because of their disabilities.
We currently have two vacancies in our team for experienced social worker. One post is Assessment Hub that focuses on completing initial assessments countywide and 1 post in North Hub based at Hilary Road Nuneaton.
The team is passionate about working with children, families and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for vulnerable children. The team undertake Family Help Assessments and works with Children in Need, children subject to Child Protection Plans and Children in Care. A multi-disciplinary approach is modelled in the team in partnership with both universal and mainstream services to support children, young people and their families.

We are recruiting for the role of Social Worker in our Children with Disabilities Team covering the North of the County (Bedworth, Nuneaton and North Warwickshire). The position is full time for 37 hours per week and on a permanent contract basis.
