Role Overview

Join a dedicated and supportive team in North East Lincolnshire as a Locum Social Worker within the Children with Disabilities Team. This role offers the flexibility of both full time and part time working patterns, with a highly competitive hourly rate. Key Responsibilities

Provide support and assessments for children and young people (ages 0–18) with severe and profound disabilities.

Manage complex cases across Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Children in Care (CIC), and court proceedings.

Work closely with health and education professionals to develop and review holistic care plans.

Conduct statutory visits, including pre-birth assessments and occasional travel outside of the local authority area.

Offer guidance and supervision to junior staff and student social workers, contributing to team development.

Apply the Signs of Safety framework in reflective practice and case reviews to ensure consistency and best outcomes.
