About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Manager based in London, UK, to manage and grow our global brand presence across social platforms. This role will oversee content planning, publishing, community engagement, and social performance reporting, while collaborating with internal teams, stakeholders and partners to deliver a best-in-class social strategy aligned with our broader go-to-market plans. The Social Media Manager will support the Social Media Strategist, reporting to the Head of Global Communications and PR.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Social Media Calendar: Manage and maintain the social media calendar of activities, ensuring alignment with GTM Social Strategy.
  • Content Planning & Publishing: Oversee day-to-day planning, writing, creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across required platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, WhatsApp). Support strategic content briefing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with PR, marketing, events, and creative teams within the GTM team to keep the calendar updated and ensure timely asset delivery.
  • Platform Optimization: Upload and manage content effectively, leveraging all platform features (e.g., tagging, SEO, native formats).
  • Performance Reporting: Develop and circulate weekly reports on organic performance, sharing insights on creative, messaging, and audience engagement.
  • Community Engagement: Manage online community by monitoring conversations, responding to comments, and fostering positive interactions.
  • Brand Monitoring and Social Listening: Track brand mentions and relevant content trends, plus competitor activity, and include findings in weekly, actionable reports.
  • Stakeholder & Partner Support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners on their social strategies and content.
  • Best Practice Governance: Promote and embed social media best practices across teams.
  • Social Listening & Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activity and social trends to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
Experience & Skills
  • Experience: Typically a minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B social media management, lead generation, and networking within a business development environment. Relevant certifications in Social Media Marketing or Digital Marketing are a plus.
  • Social Media Expertise: Deep knowledge of LinkedIn and other business-focused social media platforms and tools. Experience using these platforms for networking, lead generation, and driving business results.
  • Lead Generation and Growth Focus: Proven track record in generating leads, building relationships, and driving business growth through social media platforms.
  • Content Creation & Communication: Strong content creation and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling messages that resonate with B2B audiences.
  • Project Management: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple campaigns and initiatives at once.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven mindset, with the ability to measure success and pivot strategies based on insights.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and an eagerness to actively engage with key stakeholders on social platforms.
