Hobby FC is an online community designed to bring football fans into the world of collecting. We are on the hunt to pool together a team of creators to expand our users' knowledge and understanding of this space, and we are looking for a bright social media person to elevate the brand as we continue to build.

What is our goal?

In a world where niches are being taken up each day, we believe there is a need to fill the football memorabilia space. Hobby FC aims to be the single, definitive place for collectors from all over the world to learn, collect and grow their collections.

What do we talk about?

This space is growing by the day, and there is no real limit to what content we can create. We want Hobby FC to be a hub for all types of fans – from the very experienced to the complete novice. Topics include: Trading Cards, Football Shirts, Football Books, Magazines and Programmes, Nostalgic Games, TV & Media, Travel Guides, and more.

Content ideas

• "POV" style videos at football stadiums
• Traveling / Vlog content going to games
• Game capture of classic football games (e.g., Adriano on PES 6)
• Game capture of football game challenges (e.g., goal recreations)
• Street interview content with fellow fans and collectors

We are definitely open to ideas you can bring to life—the more the merrier.

Responsibilities

• Source and work with creators to help us post more video content
• Create occasional video-first content for our social media channels
• Focus on growing our TikTok, Instagram and Twitter pages
• Edit long-form videos from the Founder as "The Hobby FC Show" takes shape
• Expand our presence across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
• Engage with the football collecting community to discover needs and wants
• Research target audience and current trends to inform content

Requirements

• Love of football memorabilia and a desire to share it with the world
• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite or other video editing software is ideal

What will I get in return?

This is a voluntary / unpaid position. Hobby FC is a new idea and will take time to generate revenue. The founder will provide a reference for future roles and may share in revenue from ads or affiliates if/when applicable. Reasonable expenses for travel or content purposes may be covered. Content created will be shared on channels with full credit to the creator, and revenue sharing will be disclosed if/when applicable.

As a creator, you could be best suited for either: a) a professional with side-writing interests and stable income, or b) a budding creator seeking industry experience to build a portfolio.
