Job description

At Emergn, we are a global digital business services firm with a mission to improve the way people and companies work. Forever. We help some of the world’s most respected businesses, including Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies, develop their digital products, services and experiences faster and more effectively. With our unique approach, Value, Flow, Quality (VFQ)®, we blend consulting, coaching and digital delivery to transform organisations and empower their people.

As part of our portfolio, Praxis by Emergn offers premium learning products and experiences designed to build modern capabilities for teams and individuals, enabling them to deliver better business outcomes.

We’re looking for a bold, creative, and data-driven Social Media Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and growth of all Emergn and Praxis by Emergn social media channels. This is a hands-on role that will see you partnering closely with our in-house Design Team and wider Marketing function. You’ll develop and execute strategic content plans to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, support lead generation, and grow online communities with an emphasis on tying social media activity to measurable business impact across both brands.

You’ll be both strategic and tactical – developing content themes and ideas, writing compelling copy, and ensuring our digital social presence is aligned with business goals and consistent across platforms.

As a key member of our integrated marketing team, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across brand, design, communications, content and demand generation. We value open feedback, creative experimentation and learning from each other as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage the day-to-day operations. Planning and content scheduling for all Emergn and Praxis by Emergn social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), ensuring alignment across organic and paid activities.
  • Develop and implement distinct but complementary social media strategies for both brands, aligned with broader sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Write, edit, and publish platform-specific, compelling posts that reflect each brand’s voice and objectives.
  • Partner with the in-house Design Team to bring posts to life by providing clear briefs that empower designers to create impactful, on-brand visuals.
  • Support the planning and execution of paid social campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics for both brands, providing actionable insights to improve results and inform strategy.
  • Build and nurture online communities by engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, joining relevant conversations, and cultivating relationships with partners, advocates, and influencers to amplify reach and accelerate growth.
  • Stay informed on platform trends, algorithm changes, and evolving best practices, regularly bringing new ideas, formats, and growth tactics to the table.
  • Explore and evaluate opportunities to expand our social presence to keep our brands relevant and visible on emerging and/or user-driven platforms (e.g., Reddit, Slack and new communities).
  • Contribute to the development and amplification of executive thought leadership on social media.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone of voice across all channels and content.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experienced. 5+ years as a Social Media Manager for B2B and B2C, ideally in services, SaaS, or tech. Experience managing multi-brand portfolios is a strong advantage.
  • Impact-focused. You have a track record of growing brand awareness and generating leads through social media and have examples of how your work has supported business objectives.
  • Storyteller. You are a strong writer, able to adapt your voice for different brands and audiences.
  • Collaborative. You’re a natural team player and thrive partnering with creative and cross-functional teams to bring big ideas to life; experienced in briefing and enabling high-quality visual execution.
  • Organised. You effectively manage multiple projects and platforms at pace, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Growth-minded. You’re comfortable building, scaling and experimenting with new platforms, content types and influencer programmes – always looking for the next opportunity.
  • Hands-on. You are proficient in using social media tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or equivalent, and platforms such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Business Suite.
  • Analytical. You are fluent in social analytics and can translate metrics and insights into strategy.
  • Bold and inquisitive. You bring energy, creativity and the confidence to challenge the status quo and champion new approaches.
  • Boston-based. Ability to work in our Boston office at least 2 days a week.
  • 20 days paid days off per year.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits.
  • Access to Ticketsatwork.
  • Birthday gift.
  • Work within a dynamic international team of experts.
  • Excellent opportunity for personal and professional development.
  • Flexible work model and the freedom to choose the tools that suit you best – Mac or Windows.
  • Ability to work with modern technologies.
  • Extensive catalogue of educational programs, the possibility of training and certification at the expense of the company.
