Based at London Stadium, our Content Team sits at the heart of the Club’s storytelling, producing high‑quality, engaging content that reaches millions of fans worldwide. We’re now looking for a Social Media Executive to help execute content strategy, working to develop bold and exciting content within the Social Team.
What You’ll Do (aka Your Matchday Duties)
Content Creation and Production
- Capture and produce high‑quality video and photo content for use across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, WhatsApp Channels).
- Edit short‑form and long‑form videos optimised for individual platforms, ensuring best practices and trends are applied.
- Create social‑first content including behind‑the‑scenes clips, matchday videos and fan‑focused content.
- Work with designers, photographers, and videographers to ensure assets meet brand and creative standards.
- Support ideation and development of creative concepts under the guidance of the Senior Social Media Producer.
Own The Matchday Moment
- Help deliver live coverage for the Men’s, Women’s and Academy teams.
- Film pitch side, tunnel, training sessions, fan moments and all the drama in between.
- Attend training sessions, retail and commercial shoots, community activations, and organic content capture days to gather impactful content.
Publishing And Platform Execution
- Assist in scheduling and posting content across channels using approved workflows.
- Adapt content for platform‑specific formats, trends, and audiences.
- Ensure all captions, copy, and assets are accurate, compelling, and aligned with Club tone.
- Support rapid publishing during football news cycles, ensuring timely, reactive content.
- Monitor performance of published content using native platform analytics and reporting tools, sharing learnings and insights with the Senior Social Media Producer.
- Stay up to date with social trends, platform updates, football culture, and digital storytelling techniques.
Requirements
What You Bring to the Team
- Strong video editing skills & confidence filming on mobile.
- Solid Adobe Premiere and Photoshop experience.
- A deep understanding of social platforms, trends & algorithms.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, time‑sensitive football environments.
- Willingness to travel for events, matchdays & content capture.
- Passion for storytelling — and football, of course.
