Overview
We are partnering with a leading British contemporary womenswear brand who are looking for a Social Media Executive to join their Marketing team. The ideal person will bring experience from the fashion space and be confident in growing Instagram and TikTok channels, being an expert in the platform nuances, algorithm updates and reporting. In this position you will implement social media and content strategies across to manage the execution of brand content across social media channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Create on-brand, engaging daily content for social media platforms across international key markets: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn to support ecommerce, marketing & retail strategies
- Devising compelling content strategies to drive impressions, reach, engagement, site visits and sales through content
- Source imagery and write captions for all above social media platforms
- Interact with key press, KOLs, and influencers on social media to establish & maintain strong relationships
- Maintaining targeting chart of KOLs and influencer network for partnership and gifting activity across key events and seasonal collections
- End-to-end management of influencer campaigns from proposal to outreach, liaising with management agencies, handling contracts and wrapping reports
- Drive user-generated content activity, sourcing and sharing content across channels
- Staying ahead of the curve on the cultural landscape, always up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends and proactively finding ways to integrate new ideas
- Create and present weekly social performance reports, highlighting learnings and actions whilst also measuring performance against both internal and industry KPI's, utilising data to inform and adapt social media planning
- Managing small-scale shoots in-house for social first content capture and working closely with the Visual team to create on brand content
- Working closely with the digital marketing team to ensure content consistency across paid channels
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Previous experience within a social media or digital marketing position
- Proficient in Photoshop and preferably all of Adobe suite
- Strategic thinker
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to identify market trends
- Strong interest in and understanding of the digital media landscape, particularly within social media
- A self-starter with creative problem-solving ability
- Resilient under pressure and highly organised
