A local council in Penrith is looking for motivated individuals to join their Adult Social Care team. This role focuses on supporting individuals with care needs through personalized assessments and collaboration with stakeholders. Candidates should be compassionate and have strong communication skills, as well as a willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Care. We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Adult Social Care team in Westmorland and Furness, working to support individuals with care and support needs through strengths-based assessments and personalised support. Our focus is on promoting independence and enabling people to maximise their strengths while working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, person-centred support that aligns with the council’s commitment to continuously improving modern and competitive services for our community.
This opportunity is within our Support at Home service. Our service operates between 8am and 8pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Please note: rota patterns will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.
