A local care service provider is seeking a Social Care Personal Assistant in Swansea to support a young individual in community activities. The role requires 4 hours of work during term-time and 6 hours during school holidays, with a focus on engagement, patience, and clear communication. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.
A little about myself: I am a young person who enjoys getting out into the Community and taking part in fun activities.
I love swimming, and trying out adventurous places like Ninja Warrior.
I’m also interested in gymnastics and enjoy spending time with other children my age.
Being outdoors is also important to me.
I like walking along the seafront, going to the park, and visiting cafés.
I need some support to access these activities, so that I can build independence and have fun whilst giving my family a short break from caring.
Driver required to take me out.
Hours of work - 4 hours per week during term-time; - 6 hours per week during school holidays.
Hours preferably to be worked on a Saturday morning.

Concerning the position A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period.
Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment.
Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
