Small Animal Vet - Barnsley, South Yorkshire

The Role
  • Our client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon with 1 to 5 years of recent UK experience in small animal practice.
  • This position is ideal for a candidate looking to expand their medical and surgical skills in a supportive, family-run, non-corporate environment.
  • The role offers a diverse caseload, including 20-30 different surgical procedures daily, with each vet allocated two hours of operating time every day.
  • Full-time with alternating four and five-day work weeks.
  • Daily two-hour lunch breaks.
  • No night emergency duties.
About The Candidate
  • The successful candidate will work alongside a team of 14 enthusiastic veterinary surgeons, including four certificate holders, and will benefit from the support of a highly skilled nursing team comprising 14 veterinary nurses and five auxiliary nurses.
  • The practice fosters a collaborative atmosphere where team members are encouraged to learn from and support one another.

Salary
