The role

You will be involved in high-quality joinery and interior fit-out work on bespoke sailing yachts. The role includes both bench joinery and installation on the boats.

You should:

• Have strong joinery skills and experience in boat joinery and fit-out
• Work methodically with excellent attention to detail
• Be able to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
• Take pride in producing high-quality craftsmanship

Typical work may include:

• Bench joinery, including bulkheads and furniture units
• Installation of bulkheads, panels, furniture, fittings, and linings
• Scribing and fitting units in timber and GRP, trimming and adjusting for a perfect fit
• Fitting deck hardware, portlights, and hatches

Useful additional skills:

• Ability to read, understand, and work from CAD drawings
• Experience in other boatbuilding disciplines
