Overview

This Site Technician position comes with readily available overtime, ensuring you can maximise your earning potential alongside a competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.

This role offers you the opportunity to develop your mechanical and electrical skills through factory monitoring, maintenance activities, and technical problem-solving, whilst working as part of an integral shift team covering 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out operational routines and inspections
• Operate plant and equipment in accordance with operational procedures
• Work as an integral part of the shift team ensuring safe and effective operations of the plant
• Carry out "frontline" maintenance activities in accordance with approved processes and procedures
• Investigate production machinery problems and identify solutions
• Complete pre-start checks, commissioning and de-commissioning activities
• Complete accurate and concise shift handovers
• Ensure safe working practices and procedures are adhered to
• Support the Production Team Leader in preparation of safety documents
• Assist and cover duties within the fuel and ash team
