About the role

Vico Homes is built on the foundations of WDH. We are looking for a Site Supervisor to join our Planned Works Team. A home is more than four walls and a roof. It should be a safe place. As the Site Supervisor your manager will be our Site Manager. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area in Yorkshire. You will be responsible for a multi-trade workforce and appointed third party sub-contractors per project. It is an exciting time to join us and you will be involved in the following initiatives:

  • External Works Projects
  • Component replacement project
  • Sustainability Projects
  • Fire Door Installations
What you’ll do
  • Organise and control an efficient and cost-effective workforce for allocated areas of responsibility using direct labour and sub-contractors
  • Assume specific responsibility for the day-to-day planning, organising and management of all elements of planned projects whilst on site, in full compliance with applicable legislation along with Vico Homes Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with legislation, standing orders, financial regulations, procurement regulations, Vico Homes customer care, policies and procedures, good/best practice and specified time constraints when applicable
What we’re looking for
  • A qualification at Level 3 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework in a relevant construction related field
  • A minimum of 3 years in the construction industry with some supervisory experience on a construction project
  • Confident in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and internal databases
  • Communication skills and problem solving
