Contract Type: Permanent | Hours: 27.5 hours per week, 43 weeks per year. Term time plus 4 weeks | Scale: NJC 4-9 | Actual Salary: £16,100 - £17,422 per annum | FTE Salary: £25,184 - £27,254 per annum | Closes: Tuesday 6th December 2026 | Start Date: As soon as possible | Interviews: To be confirmed

About the Role

Mildenhall College Academy is searching for an exceptional Site Supervisor to join our trust’s estates team and senior leadership. The role will manage day‑to‑day premises functions, including buildings and grounds maintenance, security, lettings, cleaning, and contractor management. You will work collaboratively with the College Manager and support a well‑led cleaning team.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all day‑to‑day management of premises and estates functions.
  • Maintain buildings and grounds, ensuring safety and hygiene.
  • Handle security and visitor access.
  • Coordinate lettings and manage property portfolios.
  • Arrange cleaning services and supervise contractors.
  • Work with senior leadership and the Campus Manager to support school operations.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar environment managing premises and estates.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Effective communication with staff, contractors and leadership.
  • Enhanced DBS check and online searches will be carried out in line with KCSIE 2025.
