Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. They continue to set the bar high in their highly regulated market!

Responsibilities
  • In the Site supervisor position you will play a vital role in ensuring that all operations are conducted in line with company procedures, industry best practices, and statutory legislation.
  • Ensure full compliance with Severfield’s operating procedures, quality assurance standards, and statutory safety legislation.
  • Monitor site progress and take proactive steps to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.
  • Manage labour levels and engineering resources to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Drive continuous improvement on site with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Support site management in overseeing specialist subcontractors.
  • Keep site management informed of daily progress and any emerging issues.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor (or higher) in steel manufacturing / production.
  • Strong knowledge of day-to-day operations in a steel fabrication environment.
  • Relevant trade / operational qualifications and certifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Safety-driven mindset with the ability to enforce compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
