Position: Site Supervisor

Location: Edinburgh

Company: Our client is a well-established and reputable civil engineering contractor specialising in the refurbishment and strengthening of roads, bridges, tracks, and infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis based in Edinburgh, however expected to cover a number of multiple sites throughout Central Scotland.

Experience within Concrete Frame Civil Engineering is a must for this role.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for overseeing all site operations, ensuring that high-quality work is consistently delivered. You will collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience managing all operational activities on-site.
  • Competence in maintaining accurate site diaries.
  • A strong track record of implementing health & safety and quality procedures.
  • Previous experience working with a civil engineering contractor.
  • Experience working on bridges, roads, and infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Experience with concrete repair is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising effectively with on-site staff, subcontractors, and management.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
