Job summary

A construction firm is seeking a Site Supervisor / No 2 Site Manager to support refurbishment projects in South East & London starting in January. The role involves coordinating site activities, updating documentation, and ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates must possess SMSTS or SSSTS, a CSCS card, and experience in live environments. This freelance contract offers a competitive rate of £25 - £26 per hour based on 12-hour days.

Qualifications

  • Must have SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
  • CSCS card is essential.
  • 3 Day First Aid training is required.
  • Pasma certification is necessary.
  • Experience in managing projects in live environments.

Responsibilities

  • Update RAMS and manage documentation.
  • Coordinate handovers and sign offs.
  • Implement and improve site procedures.
  • Lead daily site activities and check against the programme.
  • Prepare site documents including work orders and purchase orders.
  • Ensure successful completion and handover of site sections.
  • Maintain quality standards through inspections.
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and management.

Site Supervisor / No 2 Site Manager

Supporting the Senior Site Manager on refurbishment works on a key projects in the South East & London. These projects are due to start in January, in the New Year with a view to ongoing works throughout the year.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience completing projects within a live environment
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Update RAMS
  • Coordinating handovers and sign offs
  • Implement and improve existing procedures
  • Lead the day-to-day running of site activities
  • Update and check against the construction Programme
  • Preparation of site documents such as work orders and purchase orders etc.
  • Responsible for the successful completion and handover of sections of work on site
  • Ensuring quality standards are achieved implementing inspection and test plans.
  • Communicate effectively with the client, sub - contractors and senior management team
Contract Details

This is a freelance contract with a competitive rate (£25 - £26 Per Hour - 12 hour days).
