Site Services Technician

Permanent | Essex / Cambridgeshire | Full-time (Mon-Fri)

The Role

Support the safe and efficient operation of site facilities through planned and reactive maintenance. Reporting to the Site Services Manager, you'll work across utilities, buildings, and infrastructure to minimise downtime and support operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planned and reactive maintenance of site services (HVAC, electrical, water, compressed air, utilities)
  • First-line support for facilities and infrastructure issues
  • Minor building fabric and general maintenance tasks
  • Manage helpdesk requests and maintenance records
  • Supervise contractors and ensure H&S compliance
  • Support site improvement, energy and sustainability projects
  • Assist with emergency procedures and site testing
About You
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities or site services
  • Technical qualification (NVQ, C&G, ONC/HNC or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of building services systems
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing or commercial environments
  • Familiar with CMMS/CAFM systems and H&S regulations
  • Hands‑on, proactive, and a strong problem solver
Desirable
  • 17th/18th Edition or other electrical/HVAC certifications
