Hours: Days 8am-4.30 Monday - Friday

Due to further expansion, they have the need to recruit a site safety & environmental officer.

Key Skills

• 3+ years in a relevant HSE role.
• IOSH - ideally NEBOSH or studying towards
• Experience of Chemical Processes

Role / Responsibilities

• Zero Accident Performance for the site
• Ensure legal compliance
• Safety Lead Indicators for site met
• Current Risk Assessments
• Closure of actions on site safety action list

Qualifications / Experience

• The position calls for an experienced H&S Officer with a minimum of 3 years\' experience from a similar chemical manufacturing background
• The role holder should be qualified to NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent
• The role holder should have knowledge of hazardous goods and experience of working in explosive atmospheres
• Computer literate (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
