Site Operations Manager | Bishop Auckland, North-East

Tired of keeping the wheels turning when you know you could be driving the whole machine? This is your chance to take full ownership of site operations and make a real impact.

As Operations Manager, you’ll work alongside the UK Site & Operations Lead to run manufacturing operations, leading Production and Support teams, and shaping the future direction of the site.

It’s a senior role with real scope - not just about maintaining performance, but about building something stronger, leaner and ready for long-term growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead site manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, flexibility and best-cost delivery
  • Apply Lean/Six Sigma principles to embed a continuous improvement culture
  • Align capacity and resources with business and customer demand, forecasting and flexing as required
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that tie into wider business objectives
  • Manage and inspire teams, ensuring performance and engagement align to business goals
  • Own budgets and cost performance, identifying and delivering improvements
Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years in senior operations leadership within manufacturing
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification and practical application experience
