About the Role

As a Non-Working Site Supervisor at Shanco, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our groundworks projects in Cramlington, Northumberland. Your role will involve supervising site activities, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This is a leadership position that requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities
  • Supervision: Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring that work is carried out according to project plans and specifications.
  • Health & Safety: Enforce strict health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring all team members comply with safety regulations and use the necessary PPE.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work being performed, ensuring it meets the company's high standards and the client's expectations.
  • Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the site team, clients, and management, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Problem‑Solving: Identify and resolve any challenges or delays on-site, ensuring that projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, site conditions, and any incidents or issues that occur.
Requirements
