Overview

Our construction client is seeking to appoint a Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality.
• Coordinate subcontractors, manage site safety and compliance, and act as the key point of contact for progress.
• Coordinate all on-site construction activities, manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff; ensure compliance with safety regulations and site procedures; maintain project timelines; communicate progress to stakeholders; conduct site inductions and toolbox talks; monitor quality control; and manage site documentation.
• Identify and solve on-site issues proactively and efficiently.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or office fit-outs (preferred but not essential).
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site safety.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role on-site.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with site paperwork and reporting.
• Alternatively, applicants with a background in construction or trade with leadership responsibilities, experience managing teams in other sectors, and a strong interest in construction who are willing to grow into a managerial role; training and mentorship will be provided.
