Site Manager - Civils & Water - Severn Trent

SSA are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who require a Site Manager to join their team as part of their Severn Trent Water framework covering schemes such as clean & wastewater treatment works, pumping stations, tunnelling, shafts, deep drainage, pipelines and other schemes.

This will involve working closely with the Project & Contracts Managers to ensure the right processes and procedures are put in place to deliver clean and waste water schemes in various environments; with emphasis on health, safety, environmental, and quality control.

The Site Manager would be responsible for:

  • Managing day to day site operations
  • Ensuring construction is completed in accordance with company & industry health & safety standards, and is in budget, and on the expected timeline
  • Liaising with internal teams to plan and programme construction and installation works
  • Management of plant, materials, and site labour
  • Subcontractor liaison and management
  • Leading site meetings to discuss project resources, timeline, budget etc
  • Contribute to work planning, and briefing project teams, contractors, and suppliers
  • Full handover of project
