Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of an existing industrial unit in Cornwall. The project involves structural works including the installation and modification of a steel frame, alongside internal and external refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors
• Ensure health & safety compliance across all activities
• Liaise with the client, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Oversee quality control and project timelines
• Maintain site records and produce progress reports

Requirements

• Proven experience managing steel frame industrial or commercial projects
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple trades
