Involve Recruitment are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee social housing voids, planned maintenance, and small works projects across Cardiff. The role will have a strong focus on fire protection and compliance works, ensuring properties are brought up to standard safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day site activities across social housing voids and maintenance works
  • Oversee small works projects including fire stopping, fire doors, compartmentation, and associated remedial works
  • Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour across multiple properties
  • Ensure all works comply with fire safety regulations and housing standards
  • Maintain strict health & safety compliance in occupied and vacant properties
  • Carry out site inspections, quality checks, and sign-offs
  • Manage programmes and ensure works are completed on time and within budget
  • Liaise with housing associations, local authorities, residents, and project teams
  • Maintain accurate records, certification, and compliance documentation
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing maintenance or voids
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection works and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing small works and reactive / planned maintenance programmes
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
Qualifications (Essential)
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
