Salary circa 40k dependent on skills and experience

Location: Cambridge – full driving licence – travel to different sites in and around Cambridge and local Counties

Role purpose

Grow Gardens is looking for an experienced Site Manager to take charge of organisation, quality, and site standards, ensuring every job runs smoothly and every client is proud of the result. This role requires gardening/landscaping knowledge as well as effective people, logistics, and quality management.

Responsibilities
  • Keeping every site clean, tidy, and well-ordered
  • Carrying out regular site visits to manage staff and schedules
  • Upholding quality control on every build
  • Monitoring and reporting materials requirements
  • Coordinating collections, deliveries, and logistics
  • Caring for and managing company vehicles, tools, and assets
  • Checking staff uniforms, health & safety compliance, and site standards
  • Managing stock levels and availability
  • Supporting multiple sites and teams where needed
  • Identifying and rectifying snags before they become problems
  • Providing support and structure to site teams
Requirements / Great fit
  • Read and interpret drawings with accuracy, including setting out
  • Organise your own time and logistics efficiently
  • Drive with trailers confidently (full UK licence required)
  • Apply solid construction skills and experience on site
  • Plan ahead and spot potential issues before they arise
  • Communicate clearly with clients, teams, and the office
  • Lead by example and take pride in detail
