The Buckingham School is seeking to appoint a dynamic, problem-solving, suitably qualified and experienced individual as a Site Manager to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate a willingness to find workable, practical and financially viable solutions. Working in this environment requires ‘thinking on your feet’, good organisational skills, clear and strong communication approaches, a positive ‘can do’ attitude, a good and appropriate sense of humour and the ability to work flexibly, including working unsociable hours. The suitable candidate will lead a team and enthuse others around them to complete tasks and deliver excellent customer service. They will be someone who understands the crucial role that a premises plays in a young person's experience of education, as well as that of staff and external users. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a strong track record of professionalism and experience in this field. We are a thriving school with over 1000 students on roll, ranging from students aged 11-18. Whilst academic achievement lies at the heart of what we do, we never forget the importance of fostering mutual respect and decency amongst our pupils. 37 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year. Hours: 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday & 9.00am to 4.30pm Friday. Shift patterns in operation with early starts from 6.00am and late finishes at 9.00pm.
