Responsibilities

  • Delivering professional health and safety advice across the site.
  • Conducting workplace inspections to identify hazards and reduce risks.
  • Participating in audits and managing corrective actions.
  • Investigating incidents to identify root causes.
  • Representing the department in meetings.

Skills

Knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and standards compliance
Experience in auditing and engaging with regulators
Accident and emergency response skills
Incident investigation and safety interventions
Experience in industrial, shipbuilding, or engineering environments

Education

Health and Safety Degree or NEBOSH Diploma
