Overview

Foreman - Civils / Drainage / 278 Works

Location: South Leeds - TRU Project (Tier 1 Contractor). Start Date: 6 October. We are currently seeking an experienced Foreman to join a major rail infrastructure upgrade in South Leeds, part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) programme. This long-term project is being delivered by a leading Tier 1 contractor and involves extensive civil engineering works, including drainage, 278 highway improvements, and enabling works across live rail and transport corridors.

Responsibilities

• Supervising site teams delivering civils and drainage packages
• Coordinating with engineers and subcontractors on daily site activities
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, to spec and on programme
• Contributing to site paperwork, progress reporting, and HSEQ compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience in civils and infrastructure works (ideally rail or highways)
• Strong drainage and 278 works knowledge
• SSSTS or SMSTS essential
• Gold CSCS card (or working towards it)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
