A leading civil engineering firm is looking for a Site Engineer to oversee junior engineers and manage construction operations in the Aylesbury area. The role requires a relevant HNC/Degree in Engineering and practical experience in Site Engineering tasks. Key responsibilities include liaising with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman, solving technical challenges, monitoring subcontractors, and contributing to budget plans. We are seeking to recruit a Site Engineer to join our Engineering team in the Aylesbury area. The Site Engineer is responsible on site for other junior engineers and assists in the construction operations. All applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the remote locations of our site compounds. You will liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget. You will be responsible for working with the setting‑out team, managing the performance and development of junior engineers, identifying and resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub‑Agent, monitoring and coordinating subcontractors and assisting with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contributing to financial forecasting.
