Job summary

A UK-based engineering company is seeking a Site Engineer for a major highways improvement project in Derby. The role involves liaising with the project team, guiding junior members, setting out roads, and maintaining site records. Candidates need a degree in Civil Engineering and relevant experience in highways projects. Immediate interviews are available.

Qualifications

• A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering is required.
• Knowledge and experience of Highways standards and procedures is necessary.
• Experience working for a major highways contractor is preferred.

Works will be carried out predominantly over day shifts, covering all aspects of highways site engineering.

• Liaising with the project team to ensure the project is delivered to a high quality and on time
• Offering guidance and direction to more junior members of the team
• Setting out of roads, earthworks etc
• Keeping daily records of site activities
