Job summary

A reputable UK contractor is seeking a permanent Site Engineer to join their team in Bristol. This role involves managing site settings, documentation, and sub-contractors while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in engineering roles related to groundworks and civils, with a relevant degree in engineering or construction. Knowledge of AutoCAD, GPS technology, and safety certifications is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Engineer, Setting Out Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor.
• Experience in civils, groundworks, drainage, or service installation.
• Ability to manage health and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for site setting out and documentation.
• Manage sub-contractors ensuring compliance with health and safety.
• Contribute to the execution of groundworks and civils projects.

Job description

I am currently seeking a Permanent Site Engineer to work with a UK Contractor on a Groundworks / Civils Project in Bristol.

This role would include but not be limited to the below

• Site Setting Out
• Site Documentation - ITP, RAM, QA
• Management of Sub-Contractors on site
• Ensuring health and safety on site

The ideal candidate will have

• Previous experience Site Engineer, Setting Out Engineer, Engineering Surveyor or similar
• CSCS, AutoCAD, 2x References
• Experiance with Trimble GPS and Total Station
• Relevant experience within Civils, Groundworks, Drainage, Service Installation
• Degree within Engineering, Construction or similar
