What you'll be doing;
  • Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Clear communication of site induction
  • To maintain chemical safety and segregation
  • Check compatibility of chemicals when bulking
  • Assist with other site operations where required
  • Provide effective communication with customer services/ sales.
  • Raise non conformances to maintain profitability/ safety
  • Be proactive in working alone or part of a team
  • Understand environmental requirements
  • Advise operators on stock packaging
  • Undertake regular workplace observations
  • Report any Health and safety issues
  • Provide relevant and accurate information to customers
  • Compliance with all Veolia policies and procedures
  • Checking incoming waste material for conformance and allocating recycling and disposal routes
  • Liaising with site operators to repackage and bulk materials for onward processing
What we're looking for;

Essential
  • Computer literate.
  • HNC or Degree in Chemistry or related subject
  • Ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment
  • Physically fit
Desirable
  • Waste industry experience
  • FLT Licence
