A leading marine engineering firm in Scotland is seeking an experienced Site Agent to manage marine construction sites. The ideal candidate has proven experience in marine or coastal engineering and excels in problem-solving and team leadership. The role involves coordinating site operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards in remote locations across Scotland. This position provides the opportunity to work on distinctive projects and offers career progression in a supportive environment.
Location: Across Scotland - as is the nature of developments within the marine sector, you'll be required to work 'away from home' in order to lead/manage these projects.
We’re looking for a capable and practical Site Agent with solid experience in marine or coastal engineering to take a leading role on a range of challenging shoreline and harbour projects across Scotland - including piers, jetties, slipways, harbours, and sea defences.
This is a hands‑on position, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable coordinating site operations in remote coastal locations. You’ll be at the heart of daily project delivery, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
As Site Agent, you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of marine construction sites, providing clear direction to teams, maintaining safe systems of work and ensuring high standards of workmanship. You’ll work closely with the project team to support planning, problem‑solving and progress reporting.
If you’re an experienced marine professional who enjoys leading site operations and delivering high‑quality work in unique locations, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
