A leading charity for dementia is seeking volunteers to support the Singing for the Brain sessions in Hereford. Ideal candidates will be engaging, compassionate, and enthusiastic individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with dementia. You'll assist in facilitating enjoyable, music-based sessions, ensuring attendees feel welcome and supported. No prior experience necessary, just a passion for helping others.
Our Singing for the Brain sessions offer people affected by dementia a chance to enjoy a fun activity within a supportive environment, but we need you to help make this happen!
Singing for the Brain is a structured group session, designed around the principles of music therapy and singing, for people with dementia, who may attend alone or with a carer. These uplifting sessions offer the people attending an enjoyable activity, as well as the chance to socialise with other people affected by dementia.
This group meets 10:00am–12:15pm on Wednesdays (30 weeks of the year) at St Martin's Church Hall, 89 Ross Road, Hereford HR2 7RJ.

Please note that all of our volunteering opportunities are based in the UK and you must be living in the UK to volunteer with us. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visa applications but are grateful for your interest in supporting us.
