Job description

Teamforce Labour is actively recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter Foreman to join a major infrastructure project based in Iver, Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for long-term work. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of shuttering carpenters, ensuring all formwork activities are carried out safely, accurately, and in line with programme and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate shuttering carpentry teams on site
  • Ensure works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with drawings and method statements
  • Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and enforce safety standards
  • Liaise with engineers, site management and subcontractors to deliver scheduled works efficiently
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment relevant to the task
  • Provide mentoring and on-site training to junior operatives as required
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in shuttering carpentry, with previous foreman or supervisory experience essential
  • Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – NVQ Level 2 in Formwork
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately
  • Safety Critical Medical
  • Two checkable references
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Up to date CV
