Overview

McGinley Supports Services are recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join a long-term construction project based in Norwich. This is an opportunity to work with a respected contractor on a high-profile site.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and install formwork for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and slabs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Measure, cut, and assemble shuttering systems to specified dimensions.
• Collaborate with other trades on site, including steel fixers and groundworkers.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Blue CSCS Card (NVQ Level 2 in Formwork/Carpentry or equivalent)
• Proven experience in shuttering/formwork on civil or commercial projects
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Full PPE and own tools
• Own transport preferred but not essential
