Overview

Location: Ringwood

Salary: c £28k + OTE earnings c £50k

Hours: Tuesday – Friday, 8am–5pm & every other Saturday 10am–4pm

Aspire Jobs are working exclusively with our professional, friendly and growing client who are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join their hard working and go-getting team in their Ringwood showroom selling prestigious products. Our client is willing to offer full training for the successful candidate to progress their career.

The showroom sales executive will be an individual who has some sales experience either office, field or retail based and who is hungry to learn! As this is a public facing role it would be ideal if you drove and had your own car as you could be going out to conduct customer surveys at home (after training). You will look the part and be a great communicator who can upsell but in the right way. The company are looking to grow over the next few years, so this is a great time to join them with the potential to progress in the future.

If you come from a home improvement background (such as solar, bathrooms, kitchens, or selling furniture) then so much the better but this is not essential.

The successful candidate will:
  • Have a passion for sales and be able to demonstrate a proven sales background - proven retail or showroom sales experience (big-ticket experience an advantage) would be fabulous
  • Have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build great relationships
  • Have good IT skills and willing to learn new systems
  • Have good practical skills such as using a tape measure!
  • Possess great communication skills
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Be confident with upselling products
  • Hungry, ambitious, and motivated by uncapped rewards
  • Be looking to progress in a managerial position in the future
  • Organised, IT confident, and able to manage orders and schedules
Key responsibilities include:
  • Engage customers in their boutique showroom, guiding them through premium product choices
  • Convert inbound enquiries (phone, email, in-person) into sales
  • Carry out home surveys (post-training) to shape accurate quotations and maximise order value
  • Process quotations, manage the sales diary, and coordinate installations with engineers
  • Upsell across their expanding range including air conditioning, boilers, and renewables
  • Play a key role in building the showroom's reputation as the region's go-to destination
