Now Hiring: Shop Foreman / Field Foreman - Structural Steel

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Foreman to oversee structural steel fabrication and field installation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel fabrication, welding, and erection, along with the ability to effectively manage a team, coordinate job site activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead a team of fabricators, welders, and field installers
2. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications
3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to meet project deadlines
4. Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines
5. Troubleshoot issues on-site and in the shop, providing effective solutions
6. Maintain a productive and efficient workflow in the shop and field
7. Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in structural steel fabrication, erection, and welding
• Prior foreman or supervisory experience required
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques, welding procedures, and field erection practices
• Ability to operate and oversee the use of fabrication shop equipment, cranes, forklifts, and rigging gear
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing job site conditions
• Valid driver’s license required; ability to travel to job sites as needed
