Overview

We're searching for a dedicated and reliable Shift Manager to oversee the afternoon shift (2pm-10pm) at our busy BP petrol station, which includes a Londis convenience store and a hot food service area. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a Shift/Duty Manager role within a fast-paced retail environment where your leadership and experience will make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the retail operations, including the forecourt, convenience store, and hot food service area, ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Lead and support a small team to maintain high standards of service, organization, and teamwork in the retail setting
• Take responsibility for hot food prep and service, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction
• Manage retail stock levels, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth shift handovers
• Ensure all retail operations adhere to health & safety and compliance procedures

Qualifications & What We're Looking For

• Experience in a similar retail or forecourt role is an advantage, but we're happy to consider those with the right attitude and leadership potential
• A natural leader who is confident in taking ownership of the retail operations and supporting a team
• Comfortable in a high-energy retail and customer-facing environment
• A reliable, punctual individual who thrives under pressure and is proactive in problem-solving
• Drivers preferred, as our site is not easily accessible by public transport
