Job description
The Role

As a Process Leader, you'll be responsible for achieving production and business objectives across your area of responsibility. You'll lead your team by coaching, developing, and supporting them to perform at their best, while ensuring full compliance with food safety, quality, and operational standards. Working collaboratively with departments including Engineering, H&S, Technical, Supply Chain, Finance, Training, and HR, you'll drive efficiency, maintain a safe workplace, and deliver excellent results.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and production best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with production reporting systems and good computer literacy.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Forklift certification (desirable).

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise production lines and coordinate workflow to meet daily output goals.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop production staff through effective training and performance management.
  • Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate production and incident reports.
  • Manage raw material usage efficiently to minimise waste.
  • Enforce Health & Safety protocols and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges.
  • Act as the Responsible Person on site after office hours.
