Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

We’re representing a long-established manufacturer with a reputation for quality and continuous investment in both people and technology. Operating within the print and packaging supply chain, they run a high-speed, high-volume site supplying major FMCG brands.

As part of their skilled engineering team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring production equipment runs reliably, safely, and efficiently. This is a role for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in keeping complex machinery running at its best.

What you’ll be doing
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
  • Fault-finding and diagnostics on large-scale FMCG machinery
  • Electrical maintenance and repair, with mechanical engineering support
  • Working with contractors and suppliers to secure critical spares
  • Supporting continuous improvement and efficiency projects
What we’re looking for
  • Strong electrical skills, ideally supported by relevant qualifications (18th Edition Wiring Regs, etc)
  • Mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with large machinery
  • Experience in fast-paced FMCG, print or packaging environments (preferred)
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and calmness under pressure
  • Willingness to support occasional out-of-hours requirements
