A facilities management provider is seeking a Shift Engineer in Slough to oversee building services for critical contracts. The engineer will focus on maintenance, risk management, and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess electrical or mechanical qualifications and experience in facilities maintenance. My client is a global leading provider in facilities management and they are looking for a shift engineer to look after the building services for one of their prestigious critical contracts, located in Slough. The engineer will be expected to have excellent understanding of Critical Facilities / Data Centre infrastructure (Electrical, Mechanical, and DC specific infrastructure). They will be responsible for effective inspection, operation and maintenance of all associated assets within the Data Centre, with a primary focus on risk management, enhancing the quality of the service delivery.
This includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building infrastructure / plant and equipment in accordance with agreed service levels and to respond to and elevate site engineering emergencies. Undertake small installation works, project works, repairs to building fabric, and handyman duties in order to meet our contractual and legal obligations.
