  • Time served or suitably recognised qualification in production or Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrable practical experience in both reactive and preventative electrical maintenance.
  • Understanding of basic programming for fault PLC finding.
  • Safety conscious with proficient knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Shift Electrical Engineer
Location: Borough Green, Kent

Join H+H, a leader in the construction industry! We're looking for a talented Shift Electrical Engineer to help in ensure operational efficiency and providing immediate assistance for equipment breakdowns. If you have a knack for problem-solving and a passion for engineering, we want to hear from you! This role works on a shift pattern alongside the production teams, covering Monday to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting both reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment
  • Monitoring plant performance
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the workshop and factory areas
  • Contributing to improvement initiatives, and participating in project discussions.
Requirements
  • Time served or suitably recognised qualification in production or Electrical Engineering (e.g. ONC, EAL level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering )
  • Demonstrable practical experience in both reactive and preventative electrical maintenance
  • Understanding of basic programming to allow fault PLC finding
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player with excellent communication
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and experience in relevant software (e.g. design and calculation software)
  • Safety conscious with proficient knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate risks to safe levels.
