The Shared Services Organisation and Operations Design Manager role is a pivotal opportunity within the UNITY Programme, focused on shaping the future of organisational and service design, impacting over 100,000 civil servants and aligning with theShared Services Strategy .
As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, you’ll help shape how services are designed, delivered, and experienced across the entire organisation. This role goes beyond individual functions- it’s about understanding the full operating model, identifying opportunities for improvement, and designing future-fit solutions that align people, processes, and technology.

You’ll bring strong stakeholder engagement skills, a structured approach to planning, organisational design and delivery, and a passion for redesigning and improving how services are experienced and delivered. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a programme to reimagine how we work and ensure that colleagues’ time is directed at value add activities.
This role will involve a high degree of collaboration with subject matter experts across the wider programme. The role will also involve travel to locations around the UK to work with programme teams, departments and stakeholders.
